It's My Bag

This animation will feature... my backpack!

This animation shows my backpack bouncing, and also shows some of the objects within it. I used three computer programs to create it; Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop and Premier Pro. I drew the picture of the books in photoshop, and all the rest in Flash. I also used Flash to animate most of the objects. Premier was used to edit the sounds and also sync them to the images, and also animate the clouds and add the title and disolves. To make the backgrounds on many of the objects transparent I used chroma key in Premier.

Here is the storyboard which I used to plan out the actions and sounds in the order they will happen. I have deviated from this slightly but in my opinion the finished product is even better.

First we see my bag, bouncing along merrily. All the sounds will be here but all quiet.
Then the camera will zoom in on the buttons, which is a sound I recorded!
Then the camera moves over to the front of my backpack, where an xray image will allow you to see my pencils moveing back and forth and makeing sound together.
Then the camera moves to the top of my backpack, where another xray will show my books bouncing slightly, and my pencil case bouncing a lot on top of them. It will make a thumping sound, possibly with rattling of things inside.
Next a close up of my water bottle, and inside there is a gold fish. The water will be swooshing around and the fish will look more scared than this. It will make a splash-bloop kind of sound.
Then the camera zooms out and shows the whole bag again, with quiet sounds.

Thanks to Kyle Isbelle for brainstorming help.
